We support most Nextel phones with GPS and Java (J2ME)

We recommend you register for the Nextel Data Access Pack with Public IP from Nextel before you begin

The fastest way to get Public IP is to call their support number at 800-639-6111 x3 (technical support) x3 (wireless web)
Be sure you know your Account Number, Phone Number, Name on the Account, and your First and Last Name

To verify you have the Nextel Data Access Pack and the Public IP:
login to my.nextel.com
click on "view phone inventory"
then click on each phone
under Additional Services it should say "Public IP Address"
click on "Add & Remove Services"
select your phone and hit continue
under Wireless Data Services, there should be a check by "Nextel Data Access Pack"

To verify on the phone itself that you have a public IP:
click the Menu button
select My Info
if Carrier IP begins with a 10 or 65 you have a Private IP, if it has any other number you have a Public IP.


When you have the Public IP ready select the manfuacturer of your mobile phone to continue.
